How long is a new patient visit? What will happen?

Your first appointment with us will take about 1 hour. A member of our front office team will give you a tour of our office, then go over your information and discuss the reasons for your visit, we are paperless, we fill out all your information into the computer, then escort you to a treatment room to meet the doctor's assistant and Dr. Schwartz. After discussing your medical and dental history, Dr. Schwartz will conduct a thorough exam of your teeth and soft tissues. We’ll obtain X-rays and take pictures inside your mouth. Dr. Schwartz will explain findings, answer all of your questions and discuss treatment recommendations. You will leave with a plan to achieve the fantastic smile that you deserve! If you would like to include a cleaning and hygiene appointment on your first visit, you would need an additional hour in the office for the first appointment.

What if I have an emergency when the office is closed?

During business hours, you will be seen immediately or we will work you into our schedule for the day. If your dental emergency occurs after our office is closed, call our main phone line and follow the menu options to be connected to our emergency service. One of our dentists will promptly return your call and arrange to see you if needed.

I’m a new patient, and I will need to complete forms before seeing the doctor. Can I get copies of any necessary forms to complete before the visit out?

We are paperless! we will help you out filling everything into our computer.

Do you accept referrals?

Yes. We love referrals. Wonderful people refer wonderful people, so we look forward to treating your friends with the same expert care we extend to you. The biggest compliment to our staff is to get a referral from a patient.

What makes you different than any other dental practice?

Our number one goal is for you to have what we refer to as a WOW experience. A WOW visit is defined by our five-star service and our top-quality dentistry that exceeds your expectations. It starts with a sincerely interested person greeting you when you call.

Then, you will have a personal introduction when you arrive. We make sure you are 100% comfortable with every procedure proposed. We take care of all of the little things that can make a difference in our patient’s day: like refreshments in the reception area, coffees, teas, and even music or shows for you to watch during your visit.

We use technology, those mouth molds are so yesterday. With the Itero® imaging system, Dr. Schwartz uses a laser designed to capture 100,000 points of light from the teeth to create an extremely accurate digital image of your teeth and bite. The level of precision is far beyond what is capable with the old gooey mouth mold. Also, CAESY/ Guru educational resources to help aid those conversations and help you see what we’re talking about for yourself. We build time into our schedule for personal conversations with you that result in a powerful rapport and trust, allowing you to take confidence in the excellent dentistry we offer.

We are trained in caring not only about your teeth but who you are, your desires and needs, and how you prefer to be treated. We could try to describe the difference all day, but we would love more than anything to show you! Make an appointment today!
